 You would think that because Twitter is so popular with hundreds of millions of users worldwide that virtually anyone could acquire followers. Affiliate Marketing, in my opinion, is the BEST way to make money online. But there are certain techniques required to be successful at affiliate marketing which are very important and these                              techniques are simple and very easy to learn.
For example, choosing the right products to promote which pay well and are of value to your customers is critical. Promote products you are passionate about and do your research thoroughly to determine what people are looking for. 

To accomplish this is really easy. All you have to do is search for what other people are searching for. Then just help them find what they are looking for and offer them a solution with an affiliate product which serves their needs. It can be as simple as a free download, ebook, recipe, "how to" ... the options are endless.
There are millions of people searching the internet every second of every day looking for answers to a multitude of things. You can make some serious income by helping people find those answers and it isn't hard to do. Say for example someone is searching for how to make an apple pie. If you happen to have your grandmother's famous apple pie recipe, then you can provide that information and make money.
You may also want to create a short You Tube video demonstrating how to make your grandmother's famous apple pie to generate an interest and direct them to your website to obtain the recipe and other recipes or offers they may be interested in.
The ultimate goal is to always provide value when choosing affiliate programs and to monetize your efforts at the same time. Just be honest, show that you truly care and be willing to help people get what they want. Be a giver ... give to give .. .not to get ... and you will be successful beyond your wildest dreams.

Social Media sites such as  Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn (just to name a few) are the gateway where thousands of Network Marketers and business owners are going to generate business leads and to connect with others.

Is it really possible to meet people, share a business concept and sponsor others into your business without that face to face experience which we are taught about in our Network Marketing business? Can a person really build strong relationships using the internet?  

The answer is positively yes, and to be effective online, there are a few areas you’ll want to establish for yourself such as your goals, your target market and providing valuable information on a consistent basis.

Participation in Social Networking Sites should always focus on creating trust and building relationships. Meeting people online follows the same basic principles as meeting people offline - say hello; ask questions, post positive comments and be genuinely interested in your online connections and their interests.

One incredible tool with social sites is the power to create a profile about yourself. With one click, your friends can visit your profile page and learn more about all aspects of you, including your business. Make your profile very broad; and keyword rich. Make it about more than just your business and you’ll attract people of many interests.

What are your interests? Where do you like to travel and vacation? Do you have children, pets, grandchildren? What are your hobbies? What clubs and organizations do you belong to? Share alot about yourself so your prospects can get to know you. Always share some information about your business, but keep it simple and always include your picture. 

You can quickly develop a network of contacts online through the “friend request” and "groups” features offered by most social sites. As you seek out people with whom you share common interests, you can network and connect with their database of contacts as well to grow your online database.

Now, the idea is NOT to blast into an online community, spamming everyone with your product and your opportunity. Many people on these forums are turned off by Network Marketers and the Network Marketing Profession as a whole because of those who do nothing but push their opportunity.  The time to tell someone about your business is when they ask you about what you do; where you work, etc. Or, if they visit your profile, they can learn more about you and it’s their choice to do so. 

When you enter into a community or a friendship online always be thinking about how you can add value and resist the temptation to talk about yourself or what might be in it for you. Ask questions; offer ideas and advice if people are asking; share your personal stories and what has helped you. Share valuable information and links so others can benefit and learn. Post motivational quotes and build rapport with your subscribers. Ultimately, people will click your page to get more information about you and what you do. 

Gain trust by being authentic, honest and genuine. Build a presence and through that presence, you will build a following.  Be consistent and be a contributor. Set yourself apart from many of the others who are just there to promote themselves. 

Building a successful business of any kind takes time, commitment and patience. Developing a following of potential friendships, prospects and partnerships online requires consistency.  Have a daily and weekly action plan for visiting and contributing to each social network site you belong to and stick to it.

As your name becomes seen and known people will begin to seek out more information about you. You will establish yourself as credible, trustworthy and knowledgeable. People will begin visiting your website and requesting more information from you. This is your goal.

Here are some guidelines to follow -

Always use your full, real name.
Never bash or trash another company.
Offer valuable ideas and suggestions.

Are you here because you are looking for a way to build a successful business from home? And, maybe you want to incorporate some online methods into your plan?

Great! I am happy to tell you that I am a home based business entrepreneur living a  lifestyle of financial and time freedom. But, it didn't happen overnight, and it didn't happen without many failures and a lot of learning along the way.

Does that sound at all like you?

I have learned by the best how to implement high tech (internet), high touch (phone), social networking (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) and personal networking techniques to grow my business. Would you like to do this, too? And by the way, I only share this because I want you to know that it can be done by anyone willing to commit to and put forth the effort required to be successful. I'm a very ordinary person, just like you, and you can do it too!

Before My Home Business  

My background is similar to many, maybe even yours.  I had a bright, promising career in Banking. 

I enjoyed my job, but it was very stressful.  Although I was paid well, my time really wasn't my own.  I had a boss and an alarm clock. I had no time or energy to enjoy life.  

After much thought and consideration, the choice was simple.  My family, time and health came first. There had to be a way I could work from home, with an opportunity to earn a great income, live the lifestyle of my dreams, and have time and financial freedom.

I had read numerous stories of people that were doing just that….working from home, raising their families and finding a balance doing both, and I wanted that too.

Network Marketing was the last thing on my mind and the last thing I was looking for. I had always heard those things were a scam and never worked  for normal people like me, only the MLM gurus who got in on the ground floor.

But what I did know was that Network Marketing was the one thing that seemed  to fit the profile of exactly what I was looking for like flexibility, working with people, full time income ... part time work ...lifetime benefits ... from the comfort of home.

After educating myself, I quickly became aware that I was uninformed about what Direct Sales and Network Marketing truly was. I  almost let my insecurities prevent me from taking advantage of a home based business opportunity that fit my criteria perfectly.

But, I jumped in anyway. I read every piece of information I could get my hands on, listened to CD's, read books, attended webinars and trainings with the best of the best in the industry. I faithfully absorbed every ounce of knowledge possible to educate myself  and learned how to implement the skills and mindset required to become a professional networker and leader.

I did not have immediate success, but I did develop my business skills over time and became a better communicator. I did a lot of research and chose something in the industry that was unique, proven, recession proof, and something people wanted and used. I felt a deep desire and invested my heart and soul into something I was truly passionate about that appealed to the masses. I especially focused on the needs of traditional business owners to help them grow their business and provide personal and professional growth, training and success.

I also wanted something that would provide an on-going residual income.  You know, something that would pay me over and over for the work that I did one time!

I began by making my list and contacting everyone I knew. It worked and I did okay, but I was not finding the time freedom or the level of income I wanted. I wanted to  create multiple streams of income. I wanted to truly work from home. I wanted to have hundreds of people looking at my business daily!

I had a growing fascination with the internet, its potential and the idea that one could make an incredible income online, while at home in their pajamas!  One thing I know for sure, the internet is here to stay and it has made the reality of having your own successful home based business better than ever.

Combine that power with the fact that 96% of people polled want to own their own business and most want to work from home! I began my research and, quite honestly, haven't stopped.  After investigating a lot of things, I settled on the ones that work for me!   

Creating Multiple Streams of Income 

I made a decision when I started not to leave all my eggs in one basket. You need to know right now that it is possible for you to build multiple streams of income online. There's a very precise way to do it, and I will teach you how. I will show you exactly how it's done and then it's up to you to decide if you want to follow along.

My time is my own! I work in an industry that is recession proof, fast growing and something used by everyone. I get paid while I'm with my husband doing fun stuff; playing catch with my adorable silky terrier; at the lake or lounging by the pool during the middle of the week; on vacation….even while I sleep!
